Galentine’s Wines of the Commonwealth Tasting Evening

Having had a wine tasting event fall through, Kearsley pivoted and asked the guests to bring a wine from a Commonwealth nation to share. We each sampled the wine, with the lady who provided it giving some tasting notes. South Africa featured prominently, with other wines from New Zealand and Australia. There was even a bottle of bubbly from England.

Kelly brought a short quiz about Commonwealth wines and we all learned that Cyprus and Malta have great, but lesser known wines. We all brought some “nice”‘ nibbles and Kearsley insisted they were beautifully presented in her gorgeous apartment. A great time was had and we recommend this event as a great mixer to get to know new and potential members.
